Critical Role Campaign 4 Reveals the Warriors Table

Since the launch of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with deep backstory, a diverse cast of personalities, and a thrilling plot including divine entities, fiends, and sinister influences growing in influence within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Key plot points for the latest installment of the new season lie ahead.

The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed

The third episode concluded with a huge suspense moment and presented the premier party of heroes who will branch out from the main group to begin their separate journey, separate from the other two tables.

The Soldiers table features Teor Pridesire (portrayed by the voice actor), Thimble (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie Daymond).

Dividing the Cast

Considering an extensive roster, it was evident from the beginning that having everyone at one table would be impossible.

Hence, the first four episodes of this story serve as an Prelude, connecting the personal journeys before branching into three separate parties: Warriors, Schemers, and Questers.

The Nature of the Warrior Group

Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the combat-focused party is for adventurers who enjoy a classically intense combat and conflict-driven gameplay experience where non-violent answers are scarce.

Initially, characters like the hesitant healer the cleric might look mismatched, but the events of episode 3 show why these particular heroes are best suited for the Soldiers table.

Why They Must Go

First, the team knows exactly where to go next after a brutal initial meeting with the enemy group.

A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose death started the campaign’s events—used The Crow Keepers for his own means, entering the hidden lair, assaulting the rogue, and taking all the magical artifacts to dispose of.

Casimir then settled his obligations and escaped to a fortified location in the remote area, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother close behind.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each character has a personal reason to exit the urban setting:

  • The agile hero, as the close ally and best friend, wants vengeance.
  • The knowledgeable figure knows the northern area and warns that it is a nasty environment.
  • The strong character and The healer, having disobeyed his house’s orders to kill Teor and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
  • But, their status as prominent individuals in the influential clan could assist the party reach places they normally couldn’t.
  • Furthermore, The fighter vowed a life debt to The savior for his rescue and will now follow him everywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are wanted by the powers that rule the city for a variety of reasons, making staying in the city no longer safe:

  • The rogue and Kattigan are known criminals.
  • Tyranny and Wicander defied the powerful family and the legion of demons they are partnered with.
  • The fighter is wanted dead by the family.

This results in them no alternative but to head to the northern region in search of Casimir.

Upcoming Developments

From the recent installment’s follow-up content, we discover that the Soldiers table will not appear next week, leaving the rest of the participants to form the Questers and Strategists groups.

Viewers can look forward to discovering which adventurers will be in which group in the season’s concluding setup installment, released on next week.
